BIBLELAND BIBLE CLASS VOLUNTEERS

Education Coordinators invite teams of teachers for specific age groups. They provide information regarding function of classrooms, materials, and room set-ups. Coordinators lead planning meetings for team teachers and provide training for team members. They assist in interviewing teacher applicants and evaluation of current teacher teams.

Lead Teachers model teaching gifts and work with the coordinator in planning a class that will be effective in greeting, Hello Time, Bible story time, applications, table teaching and dismissal.

Helping Teachers provide assistance to the teaching team and attend planning meetings and training sessions.

Substitute Teachers are familiar with the Bibleland program, and have worked within the program, often starting as a helper or a “retired” teacher. When the teacher is going to be absent, he/she will call on a substitute teacher.

Substitute Helpers assist the lead teacher in the absence of his/her regular helper.

Kingdom Kids Teachers provide educational and motivational opportunities for children who have special needs in a God-centered environment.

Bibleland Greeters provide a happy greeting for children and parents as they arrive for Bible classes. They ensure a system for parents to safely check-in their younger children.

Praise and Worship Leaders provide leadership involving the large gathering time when children worship together by planning and executing activities such as singing, puppets, drama, or games.

BIBLELAND SUPPORT MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS

We have special events throughout the school year and summer. Volunteers can be involved in a short-term or an ongoing commitment that provides an important contribution to these various support ministries. Each support ministry has a selected coordinator who recruits, provides support, and manages the volunteers within their ministry division.

Agape Trail Team Members support an adventure designed for all fifth graders as they prepare to transition to middle school. The goals of the ministry are building self-esteem and drawing children closer to God. A dedication to communication through letter writing and praying for each child is essential to this program.

Children’s Library Team Members assist children with checking out value-based books and videos. Computer games and interactive computer learning are also available to enhance Bible classes as well as an individual child’s understanding of the Bible.

Construction Team Members create and build props (i.e. houses, shops, temples, booths, sets, etc.) for Marketplace, Championship Village, Kids’ Praise, and Bibleland activities. “If I had a Hammer” could be the theme song for this group of people who work tirelessly on props!

Costume Team Members assist in the design and making of costumes and anything fabric/sewing related for Marketplace, Championship Village, Kids’ Praise, and Bibleland activities. Join this dynamic team as they outfit the young and the young at heart!

Hospitality Team Members serve by providing snacks and meals for our children’s events, team meetings, and everything else! It’s not just peanut butter and jelly! What did the people in Bibletimes enjoy? Think about it. We did!

Prayer Partners lift up the ministry in prayer by praying for our children, Bible class volunteers, support team members, and special event volunteers.

Puppet Ministry Team Members demonstrate Bible truths for children of many ages through puppets. This is definitely a behind the scenes group!

Resource Room Team Members are vital in Bibleland Children’s Ministry as this team provides support for education by preparing materials for instructional use. This includes purchasing, organizing, creating, and distributing items, which will enhance the lessons taught in Bible class. Work in this ministry is conducted in the Resource Room on Wednesday evening, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning.

Technical Team Members provide audio/visual and lighting support for praise and worship, drama, puppets, and special events.
